What you will learn...

Song Structure

We like using this example to show the importance of form in your music.

Learning structure helps your song be easier for listeners to understand. Just like English has rules of writing that help all of us understand the words on a page, music has rules that help a listener understand the notes being performed.

We cover each piece of a song, the function of these parts, and how to use them. Mix and match parts of songs, eliminate parts of a song to highlight the strongest parts, and more.

Melody - Harmony

Identify, understand, and improve your ability to create a melody. You will be guided from the basics of notes and scales and gradually move to more advanced techniques such as: tritone substitutions, chord extensions, and vocal stacks.
