Gouache is an amazing medium which acts both like acrylic and watercolours And in this course you will be learning how to paint 5 easy gouache bookmarks using various techniques. You will be excited to join the journey into the world of gouache paintings. Over the course of this painting series, you will explore different techniques, styles, and themes to create beautiful and unique paintings.
The first type of painting is a black and white painting. Monochrome type, it is incredibly beautiful and expressive. I'll be showing you how to create such a painting using gouache, and how to add depth and texture to your painting.
The second type of painting is an ink illustration. Ink illustrations are a great way to add detail and interest to your bookmarks. I'll be showing you how to create an ink illustration using gouache and ink, and how to use different techniques to create different effects.

Here are the list of materials required to get you started:
Watercolor Paper (minimum 160-300gsm cold pressed) - I am using zen sangam gouache bookmark paper
Gouache Paints - I am using Artist grade Brustro gouache paints.
Watercolor Brushes (synthetic) - I am using Flat end brush , Round tip brush, Liner brush.
Masking tape
Tissue/ Cotton Towel
Mixing Palette
Jar of Water
Pencil, Black Ball pen/marker
