Professor Christopher Dodd is an expert in adult knee surgery and has extensive experience in all knee surgeries. He is particularly skilled in arthroscopic knee surgery, such as arthroscopic ligament reconstruction and unilateral ankle replacement. Professor Dodd is an honorary Clinical lecturer at the University of Oxford and has lectured extensively in the UK and internationally, particularly in the field of single ankle (minimally invasive) knee arthroplasty, kinematic injuries and ligament repair.


Professor Dodd has given more than 100 public lectures in the world. He specializes in total knee arthroplasty, knee arthroscopic surgery, knee ACL related surgery, Su su knee arthroplasty, and Oxford unicompubic knee arthroplasty.

He and other Oxford professors of knee surgery perform hundreds of knee replacements each year, and they also devote considerable time and energy to training the next generation of surgeons in countries around the world to master the best Oxford knee techniques. More than 650,000 Oxford knees have been implanted into patients worldwide.
