It is a course that introduce the teaching of The Buddha, from the perspective of how we can utilize it for the wellbeing of our lives in daily activities
Buddhism is not a religion, but a teaching about way of living. Some have misconception that Buddhism is pessimistic. In fact, Buddhism is neither pessimistic nor optimistic. It a based on realistic view on human being’s mind and body.
Since this course is based on non-religion point of view, people with any religion and even free thinkers can learn this course because it will not ask you to convert to Buddhism nor say Buddhism is better than other religion. It will purely teach how everyone can learn the teaching of Buddha and how to utilize his teaching in our daily activities in our life.
The teaching of Applied Buddhism includes not only the way how to live peacefully, but also the way how to live successfully in life.
If you are interested the nature of mind, this course will also brief how the Buddha perceived the mind, different from the scientific view on mind.
