A complete beginner guide for using Rhino on architectural context

Ratings: 4.45 / 5.00

Description

Rhino is somewhat easier than other 3d modeling programs, and its simplicity does not stand in the way of creating complex models, which makes it a great software for architectural students and professional architects especially in the early stages of the design process.

I have been using Rhino for over four years as a student and in a professional context, I can describe it as fully rounded software and almost covers all that architects need from cad software, but it shines the most on creating 3d models for complex architectural forms and elements.

The course is divided into four sections.

  1. the first section will introduce you to the basics of using Rhino and a list of commands that I found useful in architectural modeling.

  2. After finishing this section you would be able to model the following architectural elements stairs, ramps, windows, doors, walls, slabs, and columns.

  3. After finishing this section you would be able to create simple diagrams and generate 2D drawings from 3D models in Rhino.

  4. the last section of the course has a list of command tips and tricks that I have found very useful I could not leave them out.

If you feel hesitant or intimidated think no more the course is designed for complete beginners and after finishing this course, you would be able to work, design, model, and producing high-quality diagrams using rhino 6.
