This session is  Ask The Pastors - What Does God Think About Divorce?

God created marriage to be a relationship founded on mutual love, respect and honour, as a reflection of the relationship between Christ and the Church. But incidents of domestic abuse leading to mental, emotional and physical trauma, and even death indicate that we need to return to the model of marriage that God desires.

The purpose of this teaching is to present the Scriptural understanding of God's model for marriage and discuss what God meant when He said "I hate divorce" in the Bible. The Church should not allow women to be trapped in abusive marriages under the pretext that "God hates divorce".

In this course, we go through the Bible to find out, what exactly God thinks about divorce.

The Ask The Pastors sessions are ran by Pastor Gabriel and Ugochi Adams, Senior Pastors at Majesty House Church.
