Description

This course is meant to provide the guitarist who is completely new to music theory with a comprehensive understanding of some of the fundamental concepts.  This course also provides practice methods that will cement your understanding of these concepts and how they apply to the guitar.

There are five separate lessons in this course:
-The Chromatic Scale
-The Major Scale
-Key Signatures
-The Relative Minor Scale
-Building Triads

Each lesson consists of a video that explains the concept, and a downloadable PDF file that can be used to follow along with the lesson.  In addition, each lesson is followed up by another video that explains some concrete practice techniques that can be used to help you apply the concept from each lesson to your fretboard.  Each exercise video also includes a downloadable PDF file that explains the exercise in detail.

This course is not like other beginner music theory courses.  The concepts taught in this course are challenging and the exercises included in each lesson are the kind of thing that can direct your practice for a great deal of time before you're ready to move on.  If you've been playing guitar for a long time and you've always avoided learning music theory, then this course is for you!
