Description
This course is meant for guitarists who already have some experience with improvisation and who are looking for a way to expand their harmonic vocabulary and modernize their sound. This course consists of nine sections:
-Resolving to the 3rd
-The Mixolydian Mode and The Blues
-Diminished Chords and The Blues
-Altered Chords and The Blues
-VI - II - V - I Turnarounds
-Jazz Blues Form
-II - V - I Progressions
-Pentatonics
-Approaches for Non-Altered Dominants
Each section has a lesson video that is accompanied by a downloadable PDF file that will help you follow along with the material in the video. Each section also has another video dedicated to providing exercises that pertain to each lesson intended to help you get the material from each lesson under your fingers and into your ears. The exercise videos are also accompanied by a downloadable PDF file so that you can work on the exercises long after the video has ended.
This course is not like other guitar courses. I can't promise that you will be able to take any sort of shortcuts and I can't offer any sort of "hacks". What I can promise is that the material in this course is advanced and fast paced. The exercises in this course will provide you with enough material to direct your practice and facilitate your growth for a long time to come, and if you're willing to put the work in, this course will make you a better player.
