This short and concise course on Ethics will give you a quick recap of all Ethics topics for the CFA exam. I will introduce you to the six components of the Code of Ethics and the seven Standards of Professional Conduct. In five short lectures of 10 to 15 mins I will help you revise the Ethics course covering the Code, Standards their application, best practices and then cover GIPS and its key features. In under an hour I will revise the Ethics topics and make you confident of passing the exam.

In the first lecture I will describe the structure of the Professional Conduct Program and the process for enforcement of the Code and Standards. Then we will go through the six components of the Code of Ethics and the seven Standards of Professional Conduct. Finally I will explain the ethical responsibilities required by the Code and Standards including its subsections.

In the second and third lectures I will cover application of the Code and Standards to situations involving issues of professional integrity. I will help you to distinguish between conduct that conforms and one that violates the Code and Standards. Then we will go ever recommended practices and procedures designed to prevent violations of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.

I introduce you to the GIPS standard in the fourth lecture. Within it I will cover construction and purpose of composites in performance reporting and requirements for verification. Finally in the fifth lecture the GIPS standard is covered in more detail and explain describe the nine major sections of the GIPS standards.

Be aware that this course is not a substitute for reading the CBOK. I urge you to read it to get a good understanding of Ethics for CFA and then use these lectures for quick and confident review before the exam.
