Change Management Strategy: A Guided Template for Projects
A practical template for building your OCM Strategy
Description
This course explains how an Organizational Change Management [OCM] Strategy is important to a project's overall success, and will help each student build an OCM Strategy specific to their unique organizational and project needs. This course includes several organizational assessment tools that students will start to build while participating in the course, and the assessments will come together into a final OCM Strategy template. Students will leave this course with an OCM Strategy presentation deck that is ready to be customized, finalized and presented to organizational leadership.
The course discusses different change management certifications, and primarily focuses on the approach of the Associate of Change Management Professionals [ACMP]. This ACMP approach is called "The Standard" and aligns closely with the Project Management Institute's common approach to project management and is more easily adopted into existing project structures.
The OCM Strategy is crafted with high-level analysis and assessments. Detailed change management plans are built out in the OCM Plan, which is not covered in this course.
The course instructor, Kerstin Wade, has 10+ years of change management experience in large organizations. She is a Certified Change Management Practitioner through the ACMP and also holds her PMP and MBA. She currently practices change management at a Fortune 500 company and she consults and teaches through her company, K. Collaborative Consulting.
