Classical Mechanics 1 | Introduction to Physics
Introduction to Physics and the Motion of Macroscopic Particles
Description
Classical Mechanics 1 is an Introduction to the fundamental principles of physics especially in the aspect of motion of macroscopic particles. Basically classical mechanics is just an old science with a new name with special interests not only on moving objects and particles but the ones at rest as well. Some people are of the view that physics is only meant for geniuses but that is not entirely true. For the past 8 years that we've been in active service, we've developed students and helped them succeed in their various national and international examinations.
This course will help the students to be grounded as per physics terminologies that will sail them through further discuss in the field. It covers basic principles such as units and dimension; the various types of system of units and conversion between those various types of units, also an in depth look at dimensional analysis. Do we just give randoms units to derived quantities? Are their any principles that guides us in arriving at a universally acceptable unit for derived quantities like pressure, force etc? We will attend to all these concerns in this course."
A lot of these units looked at in the first section can be grouped into either scalar and vector quantities. What's the difference between the two and how do you solve numerical problems on the topic.
Then we will proceed to study one of the most popular topics in the field of mechanics i.e motion solving each of the various examples we have numerically using the various laws of motion and apply graphical principles to solving them as well. We also looked at the multi-directional movement of particles with our focus on projectiles.
Do particles just move on their own or something is actually responsible for their movemente? The various laws of motion which guides the movement of particles, their collisions, the law of conservation of linear momentum, recoil of guns.
Classical Mechanics 1 contains a lot of in-video practice questions and examples that have been solved so that students can take advantage of applying the principles and concepts they've learnt in the introductory part of each section.
If you're looking to start up your pursuit in the field of physics, this course is perfect for you. This is also the same for those offering the various examinations that we've highlighted in our promotional video.
