This course teaches the basics of developing a technically proficient logline. This includes the three minimum components of a well-crafted logline, a protagonist, a desire line, and an obstacle. Then the course builds on these three components to enhance the logline by adding interest, a compelling desire, and a formidable obstacle.
After completing the course, a writer will be able to:

- Write a professional and technically proficient logline in about a sentence.
- Have a method to brainstorm hundreds of variations of loglines within minutes.
- Analyze a logline for the key minimum elements.
