Description

The course aims to teach students how to create, develop and maintain a documented systems.  It has been developed by myself and from scratch. As a food safety auditor and consultant in the Agriculture industry, I have seen a lot of systems which does not comply with the basic rules of document control. The need for a course which contained the basic concept of document control was apparent and thus this course was created.  The course is setup in a way that is easy to understand and can be used by anyone whether you have never worked with documents in the past or even if you have a great system in place but would like to improve it even further.

The course start with a briefing on when documents are required. This is followed by an explanation of the different documents that are used in a system.  The course then turns to the control of documents within the system. This is done by identification of documents, compiling a scheduling system and a guide on how to review documents. The course also have resources like a Document Control procedure, examples of schedules, an index and a document control record, a guidebook of the course itself, as well as easy to use decision tree system on how to decide which document to create and how to decide if a document is actually needed.
