In this course you will learn about the basics of brain structure and function. How we study brain using different techniques and methods? What are common myths about brain and what is truth? and you will learn about some basic and advanced concepts about educational neuroscience. This is a new area and recently lot of work has been done to improve learning experience of the students as well as teaching methodologies. Before this it was mainly educational psychology which was helping the educators but now we can actually see the learning process inside the brain.

- Mind Brain and Education is an emerging scientific field that brings together researchers in cognitive neuroscience, developmental cognitive neuroscience, educational psychology, educational technology, education theory, and other related disciplines to explore the interactions between biological processes and education. Researchers in educational neuroscience investigate the neural mechanisms of reading, numerical cognition, attention, and their attendant difficulties. The aim of educational neuroscience is to generate basic and applied research that will provide a new trans-disciplinary account of learning and teaching, which is capable of informing education.
