In order to become pregnant, all key parts of a woman’s reproductive system must function properly: uterus, ovaries, and fallopian tubes. This course assumes that all of these things are true and you have gotten yourself to the point of examining your options for fertility treatment. This means that you are now ready to ask yourself, will you be seeking facility and specialist assisted support (i.e., Endocrinologist or Fertility Specialists)? If you are single or same-sex couple, will you be using an anonymous donor or have you decided upon an known source as your donor? The most important question, and one that also could affect the amount of money and time you spend will be... will you be using medication to assist your pregnancy journey?

We will also address unconventional methods of that provide a more cost-effective options for couples and individuals that do not medically but biologically struggle with infertility. If you’re under 35 and have been actively trying to get pregnant for a year or if you’re over 35 and have been trying for about six months, your next step is to make an appointment with a gynecologist to assess possible female infertility and with a urologist to assess male infertility.

It’s important that you both be tested. Once those assessments have been made, your medical providers can make recommendations for treatment.
