We will assist you to create awareness of your natural, but often dormant, capabilities to shape your own future. To enable you to apply this knowledge, we provide you with practical tools to do future thinking. This course will prepare you to demystify your own future, that of your business, your team, your industry, your country and the world. Future thinking is the cognitive part of foresight and makes use of various models to anticipate, approximate, estimate and influence the future. This can be done, since, although the future is not predictable, it is not predetermined. We will take you on a journey where we will explore the body of knowledge about future thinking, how it fits into other frameworks and acts as a dynamic system. We will touch on different types of future, show you how to develop stories and narratives to communicate the future to others and how to use future maps to assist us to make the right decisions today to thrive tomorrow.
