What will you learn?

This course is about building a skill that allows you to navigate through the existing GA4 reports, create new reports, and apply useful customizations - relevant to your analysis. You will learn:

• how to use and customize the exiting reports in GA4

• how to build your own custom reports from scratch, or by using the available GA4 templates

• how to build your own GA4 Collection of reports, and also create a custom overview dashboard

• how to use some of the Explorations, which are another type of reports that can help you investigate the data even more in-depth

  
  

To get you more familiar with the entire process, you will practice by completing 2 projects in this course. The projects will include building a bunch of custom reports, adding those reports into a collection, and also building custom overview dashboards.

Why learning GA4?

Since Google has announced replacing its current version of Universal Analytics with Google Analytics 4, knowing how to operate with GA4 has become crucial. If you need to keep track and investigate the data for your own website, or your client’s website, you must be familiar with this tool, especially with GA4 reports.

Fortunately, even if it looks like GA4 is very different from Universal Analytics, it is very intuitive once you practice by customizing and building some reports. This is why, I tried to keep this course long enough to walk you through all the main features, but at the same time it is a pretty short tutorial that is straight to the subject and is all about practice.

So dive in, let’s build some reports together, and master your GA4 Reporting skills!

P.S. - My little advice to you, GA4 is still a pretty new tool on the market and if you notice that something doesn't work as intended, refresh and try again :)
