In this course you will learn to use variables and advanced actions along with timing and animations that help enhance the user experience. This course is not intended to teach you how to make videogames. It will give you tools to design your own simulations that include game elements like points, levels and achievements.
This course does not teach how to make video games. It does not explain how to code or publish video games.
Its main topic is designing e-learning lessons that incorporate game like elements, such as points, levels, rewards and/ or character selection to be used during your course/ lessons.
Some basic topics on Illustrator are covered, such as layers, the pen tool, pathfinder, alignment and brief tips on publishing files in Illustrator so that you can use them in Captivate.
What You Will Learn!
- At the end of the course, the users will be able to design and build their own simulations using Adobe Illustrator, and Captivate's variables and Advanced actions.
- Keep score of an evaluation, adding points to an activity, navigate between different scenarios, show items on a slide depending on what or where a user clics.
