About the Coach: Rustam Sharipov, a two-time Olympic gold medalist from Ukraine, brings his wealth of experience to coaching. He represented the Unified team in 1992, securing a team gold medal, and later, while representing Ukraine in 1996, he won a gold medal on the parallel bars and a bronze in the team event. After a competitive career that included participation in numerous International and World Championships, Sharipov transitioned to coaching. He contributed to the success of various programs, including the Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy in Norman, OK, and the Houston Gymnastics Academy in Houston, TX. He also served as an Assistant Coach at the University of Oklahoma in Norman from 2005 to 2011 and has been the Head Coach at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH since 2011, leaving an enduring mark on the gymnastics world.
