Stoicism is derived from the great philosophers of ancient Greece and is a philosophy of how to view and interact with the world around us. A unique point of stoicism is the concept of Voluntary Discomfort. Understanding and implementing voluntary discomfort alone can change a persons life and give them the ability to overcome obstacles they'd never before conquered.
But, it's not just standing in a cold shower because it's uncomfortable. Voluntary Discomfort is something that you do to build that muscle in your mind that makes you stick with something when you want to quit.
