Description

Teams of all types and across all industries can benefit from using an ongoing review process to examine both its actions and outcomes related to their projects and events.  The After Action Review (AAR) is a process that promotes open dialogue so your team can identify opportunities for learning and improvement based on its actions during a particular project or event.  

Course Purpose

The purpose of this course is to provide team leaders and project leaders with the skills and tools necessaary to assess and correct team actions taken during a project.  Once you’ve completed the course, you will be able to direct your team in better achieving its desired project outcomes.  

The course offers a straightforward process that students can quickly master.  A case story is presented as a learning assignment for reflection and input.  

Lesson 2 of the course explains and reinforces the value of conducting and learning from an After Action Review.

In Lesson 3, you'll learn to use the AAR process, as well as grow to appreciate its usefulness.   

In Lesson 4, you'll learn how to easily document your AAR findings and capture your recommendations for future actions.
