Here we put pockets of all kinds in our garments.

First we see an insert pocket, then a pocket in the side seam and finally a

patch pocket.

I will show you how to make the pattern and then explain how to use it.

I, Sophie Springer, born in Vienna, studied fashion design in Florence and

specialized in bags, for which I learned both the craft and the design.

Since 2004 I have my own bag collection "Sophie

Springer"; from design and cutting to manufacturing, everything happens in

Florence, where I have lived for more than 30 years.

For 15 years I have been teaching in various

international fashion schools in this city; I give courses in draping,

pattern drawing, sewing and accessories.

Due to the Covid crisis, in 2020 I started to teach online courses

which is a highly interesting experience and challenge.
