Description

ISO 9001:2015 provides generic guidelines for implementation of quality management system for any organization. The standard is based on 7 quality management principles. Clauses (Cl. 4 to 10) of ISO 9001:2015 define requirements in line with these quality management principles. Implementing this standard and achieving certification from accredited third party helps as globally acceptable reputation. This course will help students to understand basic concepts and all requirements of ISO 9001:2015 in such a way that they can implement the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 in their organization. Course is designed considering understanding requirements of supervisory and managerial personnel in any organization. Where feasible and appropriate certain resources are provided which will help students in implementation of specific clause requirements in their organization, even though no such mandatory templates are recommended by ISO 9001:2015. Approach of ISO 9001:2015 implementation in real sense helps organization to be progressive for achieving continual improvement. This course encompasses requirements to be implemented by each department / process in an organization except accounts & finance. Process approach as defined in quality management principles and described in detail in Cl. 4.4 helps monitoring effectiveness and efficiency of the process and thus lead on path of continuous improvement.

ISO 9001:2015 standard requirements are same for any organization irrespective of size of organization and type of it's operations. However complexity of operations need to be taken into consideration while implementing these requirements.
