STEAM for Kids
Robotics and IoT (Arduino), Coding (Scratch), 3D Design (TinkerCAD), Animation (Clipchamp)
Description
"Knowledge Explorers" is the foundational program offered by Meu Labs where students learn how to learn. This is the stepping stone to experience ‘how we can learn differently’. Our young Knowledge Explorers solve a series of puzzles on a ‘Journey to explore Mars’! After completing these collaborative puzzles, these explorers also complete a personal project under the guidance of our instructors.
Rocket Design - Our first puzzle is to design a 3D Rocket or Spaceship, where the student will master the art of product design using simple 3D design tools such as TinkerCAD.
Rocket Navigation - In this puzzle students have to program the navigation system of a rocket, by learning basics principles of coding using beginner programming tools like Code. org & Scratch.
Promotional Video Campaign - Students will make a promotional video where they promote their expedition among the general public, attracting people to get onboard this journey, using software applications such as Plotagon & Clipchamp.
Mars Rover - This final project is where learners build their own remote controlled spy rover which can be controlled using mobile phones by using applications development boards such as Arduino and Magicbit.
This foundational program provides learners an understanding of how project based learning works and a basic exposure to industry-grade applications.
