Welcome to the Melissa BellyDance La Femme Feline stretch and movement course.
This is an introduction to my "La Femme Feline" stretch and movement method.
This course is for anyone who wants to experience a different way of stretching that FEELS good and incorporates feline type movement.
La Femme Feline is my creation and method which in its entirety is broad and varied and covers:
Stretching, mobility, dance, strength, balance and flexibility training.
In this course you will get a taste of some of my exercises and an introduction to my method.
This course is designed with the feline dancer in mind. However, You do not need to have any experience in dance to reap the benefits of this course or to enjoy the movements.
This course includes:
- A mobility warm up to be used before you take any of the classes in order to prepare the body
- Technique videos to accompany each class covering variations, technique, tips and advice, and use of props should you decide to use them.
- Belly dance movement technique videos of the moves that are incorporated into the classes
- Straddles and butterflies
- Hips and Splits
- The Feline Dancer
- Mandalas and puppy dogs
- Spinal waves
- Flow classes
- 2 ABS classes
- and a chill out stretch and meditation class.
The props are completely optional, should you decide to use them you will need:
A yoga strap or a belt
A yoga mat
At least 2 yoga blocks
A mini stability ball
A Resistance band
A wheel
