Description

Indian classical is special in the sense that the ragas have an inbuilt ability to influence the human mood significantly per the time of the day. When  classical ragas are used to sing the most potent mantra for the Kali yuga - the Hare Krishna mahamantra - the combination is very powerful!

In this course, I bring you a select collection of beautiful compositions based on or inspired by classical ragas for the evening time, which is when most of the bhajans happen. I have painstakingly gleaned these compositions from kirtans that I have heard over the years. The melodies have been identified by another devotee, Navdeep Kainth, for which I am thankful.

Per my experience, you DO NOT have to know the elaborate theory behind ragas to sing them (e.g. avraoh, aaroha, chota khyaal, bada khyaal, pakad, etc). I personally never learnt all this, and i can play these melodies just by hearing and remembering the sound vibration. You can, too. In short, you can just emulate real, hands-on short kirtan videos in this course to become a confident kirtan leader for your community and give a blissful spiritual experience to your friends, family and fellow devotees in the congregation.

As you progress through this course, your devotion towards Shri Radha Krishna will increase manifold and you will establish a more firm and loving relation with Their Lordships. You also also have more confidence and appreciation for eastern music and the Hare Krishna mahamantra.

What are you waiting for? Try it out now and you will see the spiritual transformation in yourself.
