Computer Networking fundamentals - Learn TCP/IP
Learn Computer Networking Fundamentals and become a Network Engineer - OSI and TCP/IP protocol suite
Description
Welcome to the Computer Networking Fundamentals - Learn TCP/IP course! This course will get you started with Computer Networks and the TCP/IP Protocol suite. This course is for people who want to either get started with or improve upon existing network skills.
Its designed to provide participants with a foundational understanding of computer networking, including the basic principles, concepts, and technologies used to build and maintain computer networks. The course will cover the essential topics required to design, implement, and troubleshoot computer networks.
The course will begin with an overview of the OSI and TCP/IP networking models, which form the basis of all computer networks. Participants will learn about the different layers of these models, including the physical layer, data link layer, network layer, transport layer, and application layer. The course will also cover the various protocols used at each layer, such as Ethernet, TCP, UDP, IP, and DNS.
Participants will also learn about the different types of network topologies, including star, bus, mesh, and ring. They will learn how to design and configure local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs), including the use of switches, routers, and other network devices.
This course covers the following topics:
Network basics
Network architectures (OSI Model)
What are switches and routers?
How is data forwarded through a network?
