We'll teach you how to quickly get UFW setup and configured. Then we'll start working through the fundamentals of writing rules to manage traffic. You'll learn how to:
Allow or Deny traffic based on port and protocol
Manage the flow of inbound and outbound traffic to you system
Deny access to your system from specific IP addresses
Control outbound traffic to specific IP addresses
Manage your firewall rule set by adding and removing rules
Learn how to reset and restart the firewall and how rules are backed up
