Get off to a quick start to build Power Automate flows for your tasks. Export Power BI data to Excel and PowerPoint.
Description
Unlock the Power of Automation. Start building an advanced Power Automate flow from the beginner level that exports data from Power BI to Excel and PowerPoint in a sequence of 55 actions. Everything you need to know about the Power Automate way is covered: Beginner to advanced. It is a real-world case study from start to finish. My main goal is to help you understand and master Power Automate.
This course was specifically designed for those who want to learn advanced Power Automate from scratch and those who are already working with Power Automate but don't fully understand how it works or want to learn much more!
In this course, we will build a complete, advanced Power Automate flow from start to finish. We will use 22 types of actions to set up 55 actions in total. Each lecture builds on the previous one, making it easy to follow.
The actions we take are:
1. If conditions,
2. Apply to each loop,
3. Do Until loop,
4. Delay action to halt the flow, if necessary,
5. Parse JSON,
6. Run queries against a dataset,
7. Select variables to collect results,
8. Compose to manipulate the data with expressions,
9. Initialize, increment, and set variables,
10. Create our loop iterators,
11. Output the data to Excel online,
12. Run scripts in Excel online,
13. Perform several types of OneDrive operations,
14. Create PDFs and JPGs,
15. Let Power Automate access your file system,
16. Set up a PowerPoint show.
After this course, you can do many things with Power Automate in your projects. You can create your own advanced Power Automate flows and improve existing ones. If you worked on a project with Power Automate but never understood it, after this course, you will be able to handle it, understand it, and even improve it :)
Suppose you want to focus only on the Power Automate sections. In that case, you can skip the Office script coding section by copying and pasting the provided Office Script code into Excel online, as shown in Lecture 13: Skipping the Code. Then, the course video playback time will drop from 7 1/2 hours to 3 1/2 hours.
I will be constantly updating this course, so you can always be sure that it is up-to-date and covers the latest features of Power Automate.
If you have any questions about Power Automate or Power BI, please post them in the Q&A section, and I will do my best to answer them.
