Hi! My name is Lizane and I'm a midwife. In this comprehensive antenatal education course, we talk about all the ups and downs of pregnancy, what to look out for and how to prepare mentally and physically to birth you baby, in whichever way you are planning to do so. We don't give advice or tell you what to do, we provide you with the facts so that you can make your own decisions. It is a safe space where your choices will be respected because we are all different and one size fits all just doesn't work when it comes to babies!
This course is a one-stop-shop to help prepare you for welcoming your little bundle(s) of joy into this world. It doesn’t matter what your birth plan is, we cover all the relevant topics and encourage you to watch everything because life happens and so do birth plans and then you have the necessary background to make better informed decisions. Remember that this is your baby and your birth and you have a say and it matters!
We also talk about the reality of childbirth and how we should manage expectations if things don’t turn out the way we expected them to. Motherhood is beautiful but it is definitely not all baby cuddles and soft music in the background. It gets messy and we are here to help prepare you so that you know what to expect and not get taken by surprise. Take care of yourself and your little one(s) and we will make sure that you have all the information you need. The products I use to demonstrate are local products so you can just replace these with the available products in your area.
My goal is to equip new parents for this journey as much as possible because it is one wild ride but the most amazing experience I have ever had, and I want you to have all the information you need to get off to a great start.

Who Should Attend!
- First-time mothers and parents
