MONEY - Personal Financial Literacy for High School Students
Designed for grades 9 - 12
Description
Money, Personal Financial Literacy for High School Students was written for maximum participation of student involvement. In the classroom, chapters should be assigned as homework with a discussion taking place in the classroom. Some of the chapters have worksheets or answers to be filled in during class or as homework. Many of the assignments, however, will be individual to the student and there will be no set answer. Where answers are set, the calculations have been turned into quizzes to be taken at the end of each chapter, with immediate grading available.
This online class has been slightly modified from the physical paperback book. Quizzes have been added that will allow the students to quiz their knowledge of the chapter topic immediately. The paperback books available through my site or on Amazon, will not have all of these quizzes.
Personal financial literacy is a required topic in high school, earning the student either half a credit or one full credit.
Each chapter will have a list of learning objectives. Teachers should assign chapters as homework with class time used for discussion, clarification and review of the homework as needed.
