Description

Don't feel like a student, because you're already an artist! Just let me bring your brushes to you.

You already interact with music by listening, bopping your head, tapping your feet or singing. This course is your gateway to reverse engineering your already-found EXPRESSIONS into MUSIC. Regardless of prior experience.

We'll be giving you the full music creation experience by creatively using the language of feel, movement, culture and emotional guidance! This course will teach you how to write hit songs in the most instinctive, intuitive and the most human way possible.

You will find yourself:

  • Creating a musical environment: CHORDS

  • Guiding your audience on how to move: RHYTHM

  • Crafting the vocal narrative: MELODY

  • Evoking catchy emotions and get 'em singing: LYRICS

We'll get set up as quickly as possible so you can start right away. We'll only involve the absolute essential theory.

Of course, you'll also be:

  • Transforming a short loop into a full-blown 2-4 minute song: Arrangement

  • Making your sound feel flush, polished and professional: Mixing

  • Learning the tools you'll need to Sound Design

DEVELOPMENT SKILLS
But making good music isn't everything! Being an artist is to be human and it only makes sense that you're provided with guidance on essential skills:

  • Attitudes and attributes as an artist

  • Inspiration

  • How to communicate with other musicians

  • Motivation

  • Decision-making

For which of course, we've prepared raw and powerful lectures.

WATCH OUT FOR INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS

  • Our partnership with The Cloudkid label
grants us an exclusive cache to some of the best artists in the industry who are eager to share their experience with you.

WHY IS THIS COURSE GOOD FOR ALL GENRES?

I don't believe a song is exclusively ‘Hip Hop’ or ‘Rock’, etc.

To have true creative freedom you must see genres as groups of conventions - When you make music, you don't make an ‘R&B’ song, you participate in conventions of R&B. Thinking of genres like this allows us to be far more creative when borrowing elements from a diverse selection of music. In our course, we take full advantage of this and provide comprehensive explanations! Let's create the opportunity to thrive in your preferred styles.

OUR TIER SYSTEM
We draw out a personable narrative which explores both simple and complex techniques at early stages and we're doing this with a.. TIER SYSTEM.

Think of it as a one-time fee for hours of content added throughout the year. The course will be adding on more lessons and lectures. Lectures will also be reuploaded with improvements depending on feedback and reviews - So buy-in fast!

  • INTRODUCTION, SONG-RUSH, and TIER 1:
These videos will get you writing songs.

  • Future tiers:
These videos will keep adding different brands of sauces to your table of musical condiments. Each video from these future tiers will only require the first three sections for context. They're great because they will also work as standalone lessons you can revisit, or even let you skip to ones you just can't wait to watch.

Let's avoid the rigid "step-by-step" methods! Again, it's too rigid, calculated and just feels like a process, you know?

Learn to START a song with ZERO stress thinking:

  • "what if I started with the lyrics.."

  • "Oohh I got a sick bassline that I came up with in the shower"

  • "bumm-cha-bum-badum-bada! Dee-da-da-bow-bum-bada!"

Music is your playground when you have complete creative freedom.. even for beginners!

What we AVOID the course feeling like:

  • Learning a language - where you learn one word at a time (low interactivity)

What it WILL be like:

  • Learning to drive - where you're connecting and using your skills simultaneously, until some things become automated (high interactivity). Each tier goes over the primary key elements being used in harmony with another.

The further we can stray away from this "step-by-step" teaching method, the more fun we'll have, and the less 'calculated' music making will feel in your day-to-day lives.

And yes, I'm keeping in mind that you'll be wanting time to enjoy and explore making music on your own, for which you’ll have all the space you need. From the start to when you complete the course, you’ll find yourself more than content with your artistic and personal development and be proud of the incredible music you’ll be making.

Come grab this course before it goes up!
