Description

This class is for beginners.  Students will learn basic perspective drawing skills.  Students will learn about the horizon line and vanishing point.  Students will learn how to create boxes in 1  and 2 point perspective.  Some boxes will be over the horizon line.  Some boxes will be under the horizon line.  Some boxes will be on top of the horizon line.  Students will draw objects in some of the boxes.  Students will learn how to create 3 point perspective buildings looking up.  The buildings will be over the horizon line.  Students will learn how to create 3 point perspective buildings looking down.  These buildings will be under the horizon line, so you can see the top.  Students will learn how to use the fencepost method to create the distance between things that are equally spaced in perspective.   Students will learn to create a grid in 1 point perspective and 2 point perspective.  These grids can be used to create floors, windows or bricks on buildings.  Students will then create a finished drawing in one point perspective.  Students will create a finished drawing in 2 point perspective with atmospheric perspective.    Students will need multiple pieces of white paper, drawing pencils, a ruler, and a darker pencil (black colored pencil), or marker.
