This course contains practice questions to help you prepare for PMI's RMP (Risk Management Professional) exam. This course is having two practice exams. Each exam contains 70 questions. Attempt is made to make sure that every risk management concept is covered in these 140 total questions. The number of questions expected in the actual RMP exam are 115 questions (100 graded and 15 ungraded or testing questions). To succeed in this exam at least you need to understand following:


  • Risk definition and risk metalanguage

  • Concept of risk appetite, risk attitude, and risk threshold

  • How to read sensitivity analysis outputs (such as Tornado diagram, and Monte Carlo simulation outputs)

  • Difference between risk owner and risk action owners

  • All tools and techniques as mentioned in the PMBOK and the standard for risk management

  • Go through the PMI RMP test outline to make sure you understand each task

  • EMV calculations

  • Threat and Opportunities response strategies

  • Difference between residual, secondary, and primary risk 

Most of the questions in these exams are scenario based questions to simulate the questions that you can expect in the actual exams. The questions contains detailed explanations as well as relevant references. Going through these questions can help people feel confident on the test day.

These exams can also be useful to people struggling in risk management knowledge area while attempting PMP exam.

It is highly recommended that you should have read through the PMBOK® guide's risk management knowledge area.
