Hi, dr Richa Saxena (MD) this side. I am an obstetrician gynecologist by profession. As an obstetrician gynecologist, I want to ensure that you enter your pregnancy with optimal health as well as remain healthy throughout your pregnancy. I don’t want you to suffer in silence. Instead, talk to a woman doctor about your pregnancy-related issues.

Pregnancy is not an illness, but a physiological condition. I consider it as a miracle of nature, a blessing to you from the heavens above. Therefore, your daily lifestyle including what you eat, what you do and what you think plays an important role in making your pregnancy healthy. Nutrition plays an especially important role in moulding your pregnancy.

You can take control of common pregnancy ailments using proper dietary habits, changes, and regulations. Dietary changes are also important for dealing with two most important medical conditions encountered during pregnancy: diabetes and anemia.
