This short course is designed to teach and guide new researchers on how to write and publish their manuscripts in a simple and easy method. It covers the publication process from writing the manuscript to finding and submitting it to a suitable journal. The course explains in simple language the publication process how to find suitable journals and how to avoid predatory journals and scams. The course is very useful for fresh graduates and train lecturers especially those at the beginning of their academic life. The first module about indexing journals to give an idea to researchers on what is index journals and how to recognize them. Module 2 regarding writing the manuscript with tips and guidelines. Module 3 is about how to choose the right journal with a practical guide on some useful websites. Module 4 explains the submission and review process how to write a cover letter and what to include during the submission process. Module 5 is a conclusion about the whole process and finally, module 6 is about mistakes to avoid when writing and publishing your scientific research. At the end of the course, there is a simple quiz to test students about the knowledge they gain from this scientific course regarding publishing scientific articles.
