Quantity surveying, (Taking off Quantities of Civil work)
Taking off and estimation of all civil and building works quantities
Description
Taking off and estimation of quantities of civil and building works extracted from both architectural and structural drawings.
We will start with the substructure, this includes items such as site clearance, removal of trees, Removal of topsoil, and excavation to reduced levels. Trench excavation and pad excavation, concrete blinding and foundation footing, the plinth wall, concrete for the stub columns, hardcore and sand blinding, anti-termite treatment, BRC, Dpm, and the ground floor concrete slab to grade.
Next, we shall deal with the superstructure which includes walling, and walling finishes, floor finishes, concrete works on columns, slabs, and beams,
We shall cover formwork for all the items such as slabs, beams, and columns.
And finally, we will conclude with the steel works, which we will carry out the take-off process with the help of a bar bending schedule.
We shall get quantities for steel in kg, using the bar bending schedule template I have designed for you, it's simple
