About This Course:
There is a growing need for a deeper understanding of the effects of trauma on the developing brain and how practical strategies can be implemented into every day life to help children and families thrive rather than just survive.

Karina Schreurs (Trauma Consultant) has a background in Therapy in Education and has post-graduate study in Neuroscience. She is passionate about empowering educators with practical strategies to see stress reduced in classrooms.
Dr. Dedré Nel (Trauma Consultant) is a qualified Social Worker with post-grad training in Play Therapy and the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics. She is passionate about empowering Tamariki, Whanau and Professionals to succeed.
