The Human Resource Development: Regulations and Organizational Development course is the 10th of 20 courses developed as part of the Human Resources Certification Program.

In this course, the focus will be on human resource development, or HRD, and organizational development, or OD, and the activities and initiatives involved.

It provides an overview of HRD and its key components, along with key federal legislation that affects both the development and delivery of HRD programs. This course also examines OD theories and applications and provides direction to HR professionals on how to ensure OD initiatives support organizational objectives.

Employee development theories are also addressed, as well as how to approach employee training program activities. In topic one, the relationship of human resource development to the organization, the areas of adult learning processes, human relations concepts and applications, and ethical and professional standards will be addressed.

Ideas and facts cannot be copyrighted. In topic two, Federal Laws and Regulations Related to HRD Activities, you'll increase your knowledge of applicable federal laws and regulations related to HRD activities.
