No matter what your job is, everybody is responsible for safeguarding children and young people. Whether you interact with children and their families or you oversee those who do, we all have a responsibility to keep children safe.
This Level One Safeguarding Children and Child Protection course provides you with the knowledge and skills you need to safeguard children and understand the basics of child protection. You will explore the common types of abuse, find out how to recognise the signs, and know how to raise your concerns. It also explains what to do if you have concerns about a member of staff and their behaviour. This training uses a variety of written text, video presentation, reflective activities, and real-life case studies to help you to learn and apply the information.
