Description

This course helps you to understand and choose the right system earthing for your electrical installations.

During this course there will be presented in 3D videos to help you to visualize and understand better about it.

All the information is based on international standards so it can be applied for any country according to your national regulations.

There will be presented practical example for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment, also there will be explained the technical specifications concerning Earthing System.

IEC 60364 Electrical Installations for Buildings is the International Electrotechnical Commission's international standard on electrical installations of buildings.

•IEC 60364-1 gives the rules for the design, erection, and verification of electrical installations.

•The rules are intended to provide for the safety of persons, livestock and property against dangers and damage which may arise in the reasonable use of electrical installations and to provide for the proper functioning of those installations.

Also, there will be explained the functions of conductors like PEN, PE, N etc.

•PEN (protective earthed neutral) is the conductor which combines the functions of both protective conductor (PE) and neutral conductor (N).

•The PE conductor provides the return path for the fault (when accessible conductive parts become hazardous-live or to line to earth fault).

•Neutral conductor - a conductor connected to the neutral point of a system and contributing to the transmission of electrical energy (return path for the current flow).
