We will look at the importance of the domain, effective techniques to teach, how to use curriculum, and a few examples of teaching the domain in the classroom as well.

The course is divided into sections to help you:

· Discover at what age children actually start recognising and understanding mathematical concepts.

· Understand why pre-maths skills are important to learn at a young age

· Understand which pre-maths concepts can be taught to the age group 3 to 6

· Be familiar with effective teaching aids to teach pre-maths concepts in the classroom

· Be able to begin teaching pre-maths concepts using an activity-based approach that spans across developmental domains.
