This Course is explaining the General Conditions of Contract related to FIDIC 1999, with practical examples of the construction projects indicating the fair / correct application to those conditions, with detailing all the Project parts responsibilities & Obligations with explaining the contractual differences in-between, furthermore how the contract parties can issue their contractual claims successfully, to avoid wasting the rights, that course shall explain all the clauses (20 clauses) along with all its sub-clauses, that Clauses are: the General Provisions including the meaning of the contractual words under Sub Clause: (1- GENERAL PROVISIONS), the following chapter is including all the project parties & the Engineer responsibilities under the following Sub-clauses: ( 2- THE EMPLOYER, 3- THE ENGINEER, 4- THE CONTRACTOR), then explaining how to deal with the nomination of the nominated Subcontractor, who is responsible about that subcontractor the Employer or the Contractor who signed with, all are under: (5- NOMINATED SUBCONTRACTOR), 6- STAFF AND LABOUR, then the project resources and all the conditions related to under: (7- PLANT, MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP), further Sub-clauses are very important in claims as: (8- COMMENCEMENT, DELAYS AND SUSPENSION, 9- TESTS ON COMPLETION, 10- EMPLOYER’S TAKING OVER), explaining about the conditions related to: ( 11- DEFECTS LIABILITY), the following variation & payment clauses under: (12- MEASUREMENT AND EVALUATION, 13- VARIATIONS AND ADJUSTMENTS, 14- CONTRACT PRICE AND PAYMENT), explaining about the termination in-between the project parties as :(15- TERMINATION BY EMPLOYER, 16- SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION BY CONTRACTOR), further detail of:(17- RISK AND RESPONSIBILITY, 18- INSURANCE, 19- FORCE MAJEURE), finally very important Clause related to Claims, Disputes & Arbitration under: (20- CLAIMS, DISPUTES AND ARBITRATION).
