Description

This course is designed to help players of all ages, coaches, and fans of the game of basketball learn to see the game differently. I have coached or played at every collegiate level, except NCAA Division III, and have been fortunate to see a lot of basketball in the past 10 years from a coaching perspective. Basketball is a game of athleticism, team chemistry, skill, strategy, and toughness. There are many ways to strategically outscore your opponent, and this lecture helps explain why all offenses at their core try to do the same 4 things. There is NOT a right or wrong way to play basketball. I believe almost everything can work if it's taught correctly, and there's buy-in from the players. For beginners/novice coaches/casual fans - this course will inspire you to see a new side of the game that might not have been on your radar. The depth of knowledge that's available in this game is amazing, but starting somewhere is a great 1st step. For experts/pros/college coaches/retired players - this course will put more understanding to things you have most likely learned (and done/taught) and potentially show you where the game is moving to, and how it's adapting over time. I believe we should be lifelong learners, and that's not different for the game of basketball.
