Description

Welcome to my audio course, TORKEmusic ! My name is Juan Carlos Guagnoni and in this course, we will teach you the fundamentals of sound and how it works, as well as the tools and techniques necessary for mixing and producing music.

We'll start with an introduction to sound and its behavior, including topics such as amplitude, frequency, and waveform. You'll learn how sound travels through the air and how microphones and speakers convert sound vibrations into electrical signals and vice versa.

Next, we'll move on to introducing a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), which is the software we use to record, edit, and mix digital audio. You'll learn how a DAW works, how to set up your audio inputs and outputs, and how to import and export audio.

We'll then focus on one of the most important processors in mixing: the equalizer. We'll teach you what an equalizer is, how it works, and how to use it to adjust the tone and frequency of your audio tracks.

We'll continue with the compressor, which is another essential audio processor in mixing. You'll learn what a compressor is, how it works, and how to use it to control the dynamics of your audio tracks, and we'll also cover the different types of compressors that exist.

Next, we'll explore the different effects you can use to add texture and depth to your mixes, including saturation, reverb, and delay. You'll learn how to use these effects to create a sense of space and ambiance in your mixes, as well as how to apply them effectively to improve the quality of your audio tracks.

This course will provide you with the tools and techniques necessary to produce high-quality music and professional mixes. I hope you enjoy the course !
