MEET THE INSTRUCTOR:
Michalla Brianna is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Arts Therapy Intern, HeartMath Therapist, Life Purpose Coach, Meditation Practitioner, Reiki Master, Author, Game Designer, Business Owner, Nonprofit Founder, and Inspirational Speaker.
Her mission is to provide empowering tools that allow individuals to rekindle their dreams, discover purpose, unleash their potential, and awaken their creativity. Through the Udemy platform, she hopes to produce digital content that can act as a catalyst for personal transformation, healing, and growth.
Michalla is a former commercial model, voiceover actress, Disney entertainer, business owner, professional singer, robot handler, and foster care worker with a vast educational background. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Developmental Psychology, and a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing from Eckerd College, as well as a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands. Michalla is currently completing her certification to become a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT), and will continue on to obtain a second Master's in Creative Literature from Harvard, in addition to a PhD in Expressive Arts Therapies from Lesley University.
Outside of her healing practices, Michalla is the CEO and founder of the nonprofit organization, A Home 4 Art Inc., which utilizes creative expression as a means to aid disadvantaged youth throughout Florida. Michalla is also a five-time published author for Barrie Patch Books, which produces educational, motivational, and inspirational literary works for children of all ages. Most recently, Michalla collaborated with a team of illustrators and designers to create a gaming application for youth which is now available on Google Play. This, along with two more books, are set to be released within 2022.
Michalla also launched her private practice, The Healing Arts LLC, on 2.2.22 where she provides various online and in-person services for wellbeing.
