Turntablism 101 is a 17 hour DJ course taught by NYC's multi-award winning artist, Dj Raedawn, who is the inventor of skratch notation and BPM geometry. This course features a wide range of subjects such as Mixing, Skratching, Beat Juggling, Turntablism History, Music Business and Skratch notation. Recorded live in Cartagena, Colombia  as a part of the US Department of State's Next Level international Hip-Hop education program, the course is dictated by Raedawn in the English language with Spanish interpreter in the classroom. Both beginners and advanced DJ's can learn a great deal from this course in that it offers a vast amount of knowledge about the art of Turntablism as well as skratch music literacy using the Turntablist Transcription Methodology. Supplemental course materials are provided in the form of unique downloads, rare links and animated tutorials. Students who take the course also have the option to take a set of multiple choice quizzes and practice tests. Welcome to the world of Turntablism!
