Yoga Nidra (Non-Sleep Deep Relaxation) Essentials
This introductory course is designed for those who want to know more about Yoga Nidra and how to
practice for greatest benefit. Through this course, you will learn what Yoga Nidra is, its benefits, and
optimal practice guidelines. You will learn about common experiences you may encounter during the
practice and how to work with them. Additional modules include a survey of some of the proven
benefits of practice as well as an understanding of how Yoga Nidra helps you deal differently with
stressors in your life. Finally, you will learn what an intention is and how to use it in Yoga Nidra. You will
receive coaching to create your own unique intention for use in Yoga Nidra. Each module has two
portions: classroom and guided Yoga Nidra experiences for a total of 10 modules: 5 classrooms ranging
from 12-20 minutes and 5 guided Yoga Nidra experiences of about 30 minutes each.
