The FYT Method is a comprehensive approach to improve ease of movement through structural alignment, sequential corrective yoga exercise and effective client communication. With assessment and yoga practice techniques that are easy to understand and implement, you’ll be well-equipped to help your clients achieve improved function and pain-free living.   

You Will Learn To:

• Perform movement assessments and analyze the data.
• Identify movement dysfunctions.
• Develop corrective yoga movement strategies unique to each client to correct movement dysfunctions, reduce pain, and improve performance.
• Monitor performance, cue movement patterns, encourage, and motivate the client.

Earning the Yoga Corrective Exercise Specialist designation will significantly boost both the expertise and earning potential of any yoga teacher. Professionals who have earned The FYT Yoga Corrective Exercise credential (FYTM-CES) are sought for their unique ability to help people improve easeful movement through yoga so they can regain or continue active lifestyles.

The course consists of :

• Five individual modules (see bottom of the page for module descriptions) comprised of recorded live webinar lessons, pdf text material, step-by-step video instruction and demonstrations, client assessment forms.

• Each module will be divided into 2 webinars lasting 2 hours in length. Watch at your convenience. Included in your course are downloadable/printable PDF’s of the slideshow and specific assessments/charts and tools. You also receive links to YouTube videos of assessments and Yoga Corrective Exercise Techniques which are accessible to you for as long as you like.

*CEU’s: Each individual module is worth 6.0 CEU’s with Yoga Alliance for Distance Learning and 4 APD CEU’s with the International Association of Yoga Therapists. To receive the full 25 CEU’s with IAYT and Certification, you must complete all 5 modules AND the homework.
