Your First 10 Piano Songs: Learn to Play with Two Hands!
Skip the long learning process and play songs with two hands from Day 1!
Description
Are you ready to play the piano, for real? Start here!
Learn piano the easy way with ten beginner-friendly songs. Multiple versions of the same song allow you to get familiar with moving your hands independently, and get comfortable with the different functions of the left hand (most beginners' weak spot!) This step-by-step method has no boring scales or technical exercises, just fun songs you recognize.
It’s important to me that students feel good about their mastery of each step, that’s why I designed a class that moves very slowly skill-wise. We don’t spend a lot of time talking about music theory or anything at the beginning; of course that’ becomes very important as you continue your piano journey, but it’s also important to have a few songs under your belt so you know WHY you’re learning all that other stuff later. With the context of being able to play a few songs, you're more likely to remember what you'll learn as you continue.
But don't worry, we won't leave any holes in your ability - in fact, you'll learn to read every note you'll be using! Each video has the sheet music right in the video above my hands, so you'll learn to read the notes without even trying!
Would you rather print out the music to have on your piano? No problem! Each PDF has a complete key for all of the notes you need, so you can easily check the notes you are learning. We are only using 5-6 notes in each hand, so you will become very familiar with those notes after only a few songs. This lays an excellent foundation for continued piano study, as you'll have 12 notes down cold by the time we're done!
This is a great way to start piano, or supplement another beginning piano course. You'll be amazed at all the transferrable skills you can learn with just ten songs!
See you inside!
